my nearly new 703 remote control is stuck in nuetral and will not shift into forward or reverse. the problem seems like it is in the 703 control box, not in the cable. the "nuetral interlock trigger" could be the problem but it feels like it is attached and working. what else could be locking the shift?

What has changed?
did you work on the motor or con*****er?
might open con*****er up and see if something broke or came loose.
you should be able to see if the lever you pull up is moving the lockout

was working fine last time i ran the motor. nothing changed. i will take the box apart. do you know where i can find a diagram of the parts?

that is a Suzuki con*****er in the video, not sure they are the same as Yamaha
