Yamaha F90B vs F90C

Hi Everyone, I have been informed that the current version of the Yamaha F90 is the F90C model. Currently, thinking of repowering with an F90C engine.

Just wondering what changes, if any there may be between the F90B and the current F90C models.

Thinking that the recall issue would have been solved on subsequent batches of the F90C engine. But are there any other known issues with the Yamaha F90C engine?

Where are you hearing/seeing of an F90C model?

Hi Boscoe99, I am in Singapore and that was the information that the official Yamaha dealer provided on the current model of F90 being sold.

Was just wondering how much different it would be from the F90B.

I am in the US. The F90C model is not available here. Therefore no idea as to the differences.

If the designator has changed then something has changed with the motor. Try and see if you can find a parts catalog for the B and C models. Then peruse the illustrations to hopefully see what has changed.
