Trim & tilt seals leaking , Changed
release screw welded shut , now stripped , tried drilling and really messed it up ,
I should have left well enough alone since it was working , BUTTTTT NO , Anal me wants everything working as it should
Now I have too remove trim & tilt , too correct release screw , or replace with a good used unit
put a socket on bolt head starboard side , it snapped un even , other bolt came out ,
Never touched port side but looks like previous owner snapped both bolt heads
first section of the bolt has no thread as it go thru assembly , threaded portion is the trim tilt not the trim & tilt support bracket
should I try too drill them out ??
Lower section of trim & tilt is that a long bar held in place with C clamp ?
if I can separate enough too put a sawzall
really gave a job too myself
