Yamaha 2003 200hp v6 saltwater series 2 spark plug issue
Hey guys,
looking at an outboard at the moment and I did all my checks and upon checking spark plugs cylinder 2 shower no spark. I tried cylinder 4s lead on the spark plug and it fired. I tried lead 2 on spark plug 4 and I once again had spark. I put lead 2 on plug 2 and once again no spark.
I then took the cover off to the cdi/ignition coil units, I then swapped the feed from the cdi unit from ignition coil 2-4 and now I have spark on all cylinders.
i then put it all back together as it was and tried twisting the feed cable and ignition cap to see if it was a loose connection and still no spark.
any help is greatly appreciated
