2003 VX225TLRB OX66 - Number of Cylinders used under 2000 rpm

Can someone confirm for me if a 2003 Vmax VX225TLBR does or does not drop cylinders under 2000 rpm. If so which one's and when. I have a shop manual and it does not talk about it. I have seen so many different variations about it I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

the VX does NOT drop any cylinders.
it does NOT use CCS.
