  • Difference in B7HS -10 and BR7HS-10 Spark plugs

My C40TLRX calls for B7HS, even has a sticker on the motor.
and I clicked on those on the parts web page for my motor when I ordered them, but I got the BR7HS.
will this be a problem to use them or do I need to get the B7HS?

I am sure the R stands for resister ,
Would the resister cause a higher spark voltage?
From what I remember on automotive Nonsolid wires and resister plugs helped reduce noise in radios.
looking to see what all this parts web site shows for the BR&HS plug it is higher HP motors 150hp and 200s

This place is getting ridiculous. Onerous. Keeps blocking links to useful websites.

NGK says a non resistor plug provides more energy. Appears that you got the wrong plugs.

Although in reality it might not even be noticeable.

Amazon has them. The resistor plugs will work.

clicking the Yamaha Parts at top of page shows them for $4.20,
but you may get the BR7 instead. Like I did

Forget that..they want $20 to ship. Looks like Napa online has them $4.29 USD plus shipping, dont know how much that will be.

I was ordering a new set of seals and housing for my drive shaft anyway, and also a set of plugs for my brothers C60 (B8) along with the B7s for my C40.
shipping was $9.95 and then taxes.

Will try napa next time is I am not ordering other Yamaha parts

Post #2 above is on hold pending an approval. All I did was post links to two NGK websites.

It is all highlighted in green. Unapproved notice is provided.

Do you see a post #2?
