  • Lithium Iron Phosphate for F70 House Battery?

Does anyone have any experience with running a Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery as a starting battery / house battery for an F70 ?
I've heard conflicting opinions for and against it.

One of the reasons against, was regarding the constant output of the alternator putting voltage back into the battery, especially during long runs at higher RPM's.

Just curious if there were folks here who have experience with this.

Thanks in advance for any input.

The battery needs to be rated as a starting battery. One that will not disconnect itself from a motor during usage.

Many on the Bass Boats Central boards are running lithium starting batteries. Also, lithium house batteries. In conjunction with lead acid or lithium starting batteries.

By the way, it is not voltage that goes from the motor to the battery. It is current.
