1990 250ETXD S/W leaking out of head Gasket

When winterizing my old 250 for the season I noticed salt build up around some of the plugs and on the outside of the top gasket (port side head).
Do you think retorquing it will help or do I need to pull it off see if it's warped and put it on with a new gasket?

pull the head and cover.
inspect for corrosion/warpage.
replace the gaskets.
go play.
