  • Yamaha F100AET Carburetors

    Hi All,

Wonder if you can help, completely at my wit's end here.
I've got a fairly low engine hour Yamaha F100 AET 4-stroke outboard which is running like a bag of spanners!
I've rebuilt the carbs and Sonic cleaned them to no avail.
It seems Yamaha has stopped supplying the carbs for it.

My question is, does anyone know if any other carbs fit that model of engine?
    The Carb Numbers are:
    67f-14901-20
    67f-14902-20
    67f-14903-20
    67f-14904-20

    Thanks in advance!

    Dan

What is the engine ID? The serial number? I am in the US. That is not a US model.

Has the compression, ignition and quality of gasoline been ruled out as the problem?

The carburetors, if available from Yamaha, will be expensive. Cost of same will probably exceed the value of the motor.

What exactly is the motor doing or not doing?

Who informed you that the carburetors were no longer available from Yamaha?

It would be a rare case to have to replace the carbs, they can be cleaned and rebuilt to like new. Your fault description is somewhat vague “running like a bag of spanners” tells us nothing. Why do you suspect the carbs?
