  • Convert 40LEHA to 40LA

Is it possible to convert a 2022 40LEHA to a 40LA. If so, what parts are required?

Possible but not practical. But see for yourself.

Got to the Yamaha parts catalogs at www.yamahaoutboards.com

Open the catalog for the F40LEHA and open the catalog for the F40LA.

Compare the parts differences. Remove the F40LEHA parts that are not used on the F40LA. Add the parts that are used on the F40LA but which are not used on the F40LEHA.

Two strokes are becoming things of the past. There will be a time in the future where this question will come up and not be so stupid.
Afterall combustion engines only have two strokes; the piston goes up and then down.
Does anybody have a detailed knowledge how electric car motors work!

based on what I have seen, they basically work by letting you drive for 2 hours and then recharge for 4 hours. Then rinse and repeat.

there is an intake stroke, compression stroke, power stroke, and then an exhaust stroke on a 4 stroke motor.
            2 up and 2 down

on a 2 stroke motor some of these are combined so only one up and one down
