my engine had it's oil tank removed before i bought and the oil tank sensor cable tied upside down. Obviously ive been running this on pre mix for over a year now no probs
however the oil alarm has started going off and shutting the engine down
i've tried removing the oil tank sensor but makes no diference.also disconected the heat sensors to make sure they weren't the problem.

revs ok in nuetral and reverse but when i engage forward it won't go above 1600 revs before the alarm goes off and shuts the engine down.

is there a correct procedure to remove the oil injection system and sensors so i don't get this problem
Thanks in advance for any help offered

No you simply unplug the engine oil level sensor from ECU to eliminate oil alarm. Are you sure it's not an overheat alarm?
