  • 1988 yamaha 70 hp etlg carburetor problem. .

Top carburetor is blowing fuel out and choking out the motor were it won't go. I put a rebuild kit in it and is still flooding it out here is what I changed.
gasket, gum cap, valve seat 01.4 float valve, clip, valve pin, float comp, arm pin, flot/c washer, o ring, packin screw pilot, ajast screw, o ring..
Is there something that didn't get replaced that is causing it to flood out or is it time to replace it..? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you..

Need a better explanation of "blowing fuel out" do you mean leaking? Fuel actually being "blown" out the throat?

It's blowing out kind of like spitting out way more than the lower 2. And fills the bottom off silencer with raw fuel.

reeds may be not seating well or cracked/broken

If the needle and seat do not shut off fuel into the bowl of carb then fuel would run out the vent or through the inside of carb, but I would think it would be sucked into the motor not blown out of carb
