        no reason to remove any oil lines to access the HP pump.
        if you left the oil line off the VST its no worries.
        its also why an understaning of all 3 fuel subsystems is rather critical.
        its also why TESTING the output pressures of all 3 fuel subsystems is mandatory.

        the HP can be monitored with a simple digital multi meter.

          I hear ya with the 2nd & 3rd rib felt like doing that a couple times.
          This just driving me crazy,I just can't understand why she won't start now.

          I was cleaning the VST filter,that's why I removed the oil line.

            If you cannot test pressures then find someone that can.

            need to test to see what is going on.
            Laptop with cable and software should show what is or is not doing what it should
            probably need to find a good Yamaha shop with knowledgeable trained techs
