    I have noticed that on two ********g oscilloscopes, instead of using peak voltage the term max voltage is used. Vmax.

    A sine wave is depicted as having a 52% duty cycle. Seems to me it would be 50%.

    99Yam and fairdeal, any comments or words of wisdom?

      I would have expected 50% also on a true sinewave the spends 1/2 of its time above the zero point and 1/2 under it

        What is the sine wave? Just a shape isn’t it.
        Its voltage rising and falling, then somehow it does it another way.
        So really how much time does the voltage spend at zero? This will determine the duty cycle, assuming at zero it cannot perform any duty.
        I also suspect Vpeak and Vmax are terms given to this dilemma: what is the amount of time spent here, it’s zero time so do these points actually exist?
