  • 6yc fuel level

    Hey guys.

    I just re rigged my boat with mechanical 2015 f150s & 6yc.

I hooked up the sender to the command link hub, set the second tank to unused, set the main tank to 175g and attempted to do either a single or multipoint calibration. Either way I get an error message the calibration could not be completed because the sender was out of range. I verified 115 ohm output from the sender and that the signal was true all the way up to the hub.

Tank is roughly half full so the 115ohms seems in line with what I was expecting.

I believe it’s an abcy us but tried the eu as well. Results were the same.

I also tried a local reset on the gauge and tanks.

I can't imagine what that means.

A conventional fuel tank sender does not connect to the Command Link hub.

On the back of the 6YC there is a 6-wire connector:

the wires are blue, white, black, pink, black, pink w/ black stripe

the pink wire, and a black wire,
connect to the fuel tank sender wires for the primary/only fuel tank.

    See the photo below

If there were a second fuel tank,
the pink w/black stripe and black would connect to that sender.
