Wiring the tachometer?

Wiring Forum.jpgI am installing a Yamaha T25XWTC outboard with a tachometer and I want to make sure that I get the wiring right. Here is a picture of how I think that it should be wired. Does that look right to you?

YIKES, not proper for a small motor IMO. Look around they have cool little induction TACHS that u run the wire around a plug wire and ur good to go. Find the longest pickup wire and mount (tach) it correctly for visibility.
