I tore down the carb, cleaned and rebuilt it and I can’t get the dam thing to start. Does anybody know the factory specs on the airflow screw? It screwed it all the way down and opened it about a half turn and tried to start it. I did that about 5 or 6 times but it would be a lot easier if I had the specs. Thanks.

It is not an airflow screw. It is an idle mixture screw. Allows gasoline to flow into the carburetor at idle and low RPM.
The specs for turning the screw outward from being lightly seated would be the number of turns inward that were measured and recorded in your service manual before the screw was removed from the carburetor. -
If you lost your measurement, the baseline setting is 3.25 turns outward from being lightly seated. Plus or minus .5 turn.Comment
