  • Yamaha fuel management indication

I have twin Yamaha 150, 2019 . I had the engines mounted on a newer boat. The new boat was totally stripped .I had to hook up and install all systems . After 4 months got it in the water and all worked Ok except the fuel management . The indicator is dead .Looks like no power. Checked all wiring and all is connected . I need a wiring print showing how the indicator gets it's power. The wiring from the two fuel used transducers are hooked up. I need the fuel used indication working. Anyone have a print showing the wiring would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, if these are indeed "2019" engines
(which then would be the F150 model)
IMHO its a strange choice to make,
to go to the trouble to use the primitive 6Y5 Fuel management
    with mechanical flow meters,
rather than simply use the engine Command Link/NMEA 2000 fuel data output.

    Whatever.

      Careful now.

As I recall a Boeing 787 uses a similar sort of fuel flow indication system as does the "primitive" Yamaha 6Y5 system.

The Yamaha advanced fuel flow system won't indicate a fuel leak within the system. The "primitive" Yamaha 6Y5 system will.
