Pilot screw turns out question ?

What do they mean by 5/8 +- 1/4 turn. Is it the same as not one full turn out?

5/8 +-1/4 turn gives you a range of 3/8 to 7/8 turn out from all the way in - I would run the setting thru the range and see if the motor idles any better - if not, then set for mid-range 5/8.
