Yamaha F15SEHA conversion from tiller to steering

Can I modify my 15HP Yamaha Outboard F15SEHA from tiller to steering with throttle control on my inflatable boat?

My dealer says it's not possible with this engine, even if there's already an electric starter.

I suspect that you dealer is saying that there is no Yamaha kit to convert your tiller handle model to a remote con*****ed model.

Almost any conversion is possible given enough time, money and effort.

What's in your wallet?

In many cases it is more economical and less effort to sell a tiller steered model and to then buy the remote con*****ed model.

Agree totally. And my goal was to spend very little on this... That answers my question then. I'll keep it "as is" fow now.
