Yamaha f80 4 stroke. Wiring problems! Help!

I took my engine off my boat last year and it was working fine, just tried reconnecting it all for this season and the rev counter display unit does not light up or work. The engine starts fine and runs lovely but won't turn off via key or emergency cut off switch! If anyone has had similar problems or can offer advice I would be very gratefull!!

Sounds like there are wires not connected. If it has remote control then check the 10 pin main harness connectors to see if aligned properly,make sure the arrows on the connectors line up.
