oil transfer issue

I have a 2003 VMAX HDPI 200, my oil tranfer has stopped working, I direct wired the remote pump and changed the inline filter, all good. when I turn on the key I can hear a pump run for about 7 seconds then it stops. The emergency switch does not cause the pump on the remote to run. The float switch in the engine tank is a question for me but I did remove it from the tank and the low oil alarm came on..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

do you have a digital voltmeter?

no, i have a multi-meter,I think I must have a bad connection where the emergency wire and the low level oil wire connect

they don't connect.
do you have the Yamaha digital tachometer?
