  • 90AETO part numbering

    Hi

I have just bought a 90AETO - I think that is a European part number (I am in England)

I can't find it on here - would it be the same as 90TLRT ?

    Thanks

    Herman

Ok thanks for that so serial is 486238

Does that help identify the year etc

Boscoe should be able to get some info from that.
but there should be another tag showing date of manufacture on the other side of the bracket

1994 model year motor. Similar to a US 90TLRS model. https://www.boats.net/catalog/yamaha...ar/1994/90tlrs

Thanks loads chaps. its a 1995 boat I think so 1994 for the engine makes sense.

So looks like I can use 90TLRS to buy parts.

I woder why 90AETO is such a hard numebr to identify ?

I did look for the other plate to see the date but there is just a blank space see pic.

Yamaha Europe offers a parts catalog for the 90AETO model. Does the UK still consider themselves to be part of the EU? Do you guys still go by Great Britain?

                      great found it thanks !

Where can I get a service manual - I called Yamaha GB and they said they didn't have one.

I need to do the whole lot, plugs, fuel filter, gear oil, grease nipples etc....

To be honest I prefer online manuals over printed - my eyes are not the best and I always find the printed ones have diagrams that are too small...

Just to finish this off and help anyone else in the same position...

I finally found the (rather good and detailed) full service manual and user manual on Manuals.lib

So if anyone wants a copy let me know. Both are really comprehensive.

The reason I didn't find it at first on there was that it covers 50A 60A 70A 80A and 90A but was filed under 50A....
