Best place to buy lower unit?

Let us know how you make out. Some say it is hit or miss with the SEI lowers.

Breaking it in per SEI guidelines with 15 hours, so far so good. I bought this boat after it had been sitting for a year and a half so I'm still shaking it down. Now looking for gauges to replace the originals. They light up but that is all.

Thanks Jason2tpa. I stumbled upon this company and ordered before I saw your post. New with a 3 year warranty for the same price as some used that I saw on ebay etc... . Got it yesterday, took two days, Some places were telling me it would be months because mine is a counter rotation engine. SEI is on time!

With 38 winters in Baja Sur. I first reg here as Baja Keith. But lost password. So I reg in under KB. I'm address as Captain K by friends and associates. I've ran boats all over Cali, Baja mexico, had three boats at one time in Costa Rico. *****ed from LA Paz to Cobo thru Hawaii then up to ALASKA. Ran a 120" with 40 POB for the Exxon screw up !! Damn That was Ugly. But not much money in running boats. But good money in fixing them if your good. OUT

Looks like I am shopping for a L200TXRX lower unit. Any advise as to where to find a new verses rebuilt, etc... would be appreciated. Port engine, counter rotation.
