Bloody hell...£30 for a diaphragm. It was this or ones shipped from China, which were cheap but I didn't have the confidence they'd be a perfect match.

Price a new 8 hp motor....you wont feel so bad about the 30 lbs you paid for the proper diaphragm!

If you use the engine regularly its likely you will never have to replace it again.

Lol - you're not wrong. Still very happy with the purchase; she shifted our new (old) Avon Rover 3.10 along at a fair old rate! Planing is new to me, and I'm a big fan
