  • Hydraulic issue

    2004 70TLRC
using my hydraulic tilt, I tilt my motor up a bit and over a period of minutes, it comes down.
Guessing there is an internal check valve that is leaking.
I see no evidence of fluid leaking to the outside so that is not an issue. I checked the fluid and after a dozen years, it may have been low a teaspoon of oil.

    Suggestions on issue and repair?

check the manual release screw to make sure it is seated.

If something internal, you might need to send off to be fixed, too much mystery stuff inside there for me to mess with

Agree with 99yam....check manual release screw. But if you find the manual release screw is tightened down, then you most certainly have a leaky seal....Especially since the unit isn't holding pressure within only a few minutes of raising the motor.
