        What ill do then is let the spring bring it tight and add a smidge more pressure for the new belt. Rough idea on deflection on tight side?1”? 1/2”? Go with gut?

          I am going to post a couple of pictures that may help explain what i am seeing. Upon further inspection, if i line the two marks up on the driven gears, the drive gear hole is right over the little mark that shows TDC. So timing is still good. But my flywheel is about 10-15 off tdc. How is that possible when the flywheel is hard mounted on the same shaft? Isnt there a keyway to align them?

          I have highlighted in the pic where the driven and drive gears marks are and as you can see, flywheel tdc is off.
