Parts compatibility for older 30 hp 2 stroke

Hi everyone. I have a 1992 model 30ELRQ outboard that needs a new leg. I have access to a 1995 30MLHT motor and wonder if I can swap leg parts between the two? I really want to stay with the electric start, so considering the 1995 motor as the source of the parts to fix the 1992 motor. What alternative options are there to obtaining a new leg only for the 1992 motor? Thanks
