Hi all.
New to this forum.
I have an 8hp 2 stroke. Started and ran great first time out. Sat for 2 weeks, wouldn't start unless I overrode the throttle and put it back in neutral. Took about 40 tugs on the rope.
Ran around the lake, brought it in a low speed and it died
Cannot get it to start for more than a few seconds. And it only start once. Cleaned carb (was cleaned a little over a year ago by a pro), new bulb, new Yamaha attachment to motor and tank. new plugs.
Could it be a fuel pump?
