Heat Alarm going off

I have a 2004 VX200TLRC, and the heat alarm comes on when I am running at idle speed. It will go off if I increase the rpm's slightly. The motor is peeing good and strong. Could this be a problem with the heat sensor or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

PRV may be sticking open not allowing the block to be filled all of the way,
or maybe the pump is just not pumping enough at idle

Yep. Symptomatic of a pressure control valve stuck open.
