      So it would appear a SX225TXRY
      in which case your parts are listed here;
      https://www.boats.net/catalog/yamaha...2000/sx225txry
      or SX225TURY
      https://www.boats.net/catalog/yamaha...2000/sx225tury

      look like the VST filter is part # 66K-13915-00-00
      here:
      https://www.boats.net/product/yamaha...1d4fd79a8866c8

      the oxygen sensor part # 65L-8592A-00-00
      https://www.boats.net/product/yamaha...e9ceb57b67a50c

      IMO, www.Boats.net - who sponsor this site -
      is an excellent place to purchase Yamaha parts;
      a nice discount off list,
      good likelihood that parts are available,
      and quick shipping.

      the official Yamaha Service Manual - IMO 'the best" - is LIT-18616-02-02

            Is there anything other than the filter and gasket that needs to be replaced in the vst tank . any other gaskets or o-rings.

              Is the VST filter actually bad? It's just a simple mesh screen (an cleanable). Also, have you verified that the O2 sensor is bad? They can be cleaned, as well. It's not "bad" to replace these - but you may be able to save some money. The bigger thing to look at, in my opinion, in regards to the O2 is the little dumbell-looking thing in the pass-through air camber portion. That can get carbon'd up (cleanable) - especially if something like RingFree isn't used regularly and/or gas gets stale.

                It’s a new to me boat. And just want to jump on any routine maintenance, and start my own maintenance schedule. I talked to the previous owner last night and he said he never cleaned the o2 sensor. And changed the VST filter about 250 hours ago. The motor has 480 hours on it. It seems to be running fine , I’ve had no issues, but I’ve only been out twice with it.
