  • Yamabond 4/5/6b for cylinder head covers???

Going to check valves and the service manual for my F200TXRC shows "S1280B" as needed for the top corners of the gaskets. I can't pin down what "S1280B" is beyond it being Yamabond, however there's more than 1 option of Yamabond. Anybody know what the correct one is?

In my service manual, it gives a specific description of each sealant. I would assume it might say the same thing in yours? What you are showing is not listed in my manual. Might be a good idea to get a SM?

I looked for it in the symbols reference at the beginning of the service manual, but I can't find a description of it anywhere in there.

I use Yamabond #4 For almost all gasket surfaces. It's especially formulated for engine cases that don't have gaskets (balancers, primary case halves, etc).

Never had a leak with it.
