How can I know what tachometer is compatible with my engine? at the local second-hand shop they have quite a few different styles. Also, my remote control seems to have a fixed piece of plastic in place of the trim thumb switch. Should I just remotely mount a switch on the dash? The previous owner also seems to have been judicious with the wire cutters. Only the pink seems to correspond with a wire in the harness... do any of the other wires look important? Thank you all.
