    I did try as you suggested, but I couldn't find anything wrong with that blue wire. Hopefully boscoe can help.

      The fuel pressure sensor only measures the output from the mechanical high pressure pump. Has nothing to do with the electrical fuel pump pressure.

        Alright then, thank you. So if it were faulty it would not prevent a electric fuel pump from kicking on at key on? Is that an accurate assessment?

            Ok, thanks for the confirmation on that. Right now my electric fuel pump is kicking on like it is suppose to at key on. But I know by tomorrow morning if I go to check it that it won't be. Thats what is driving me crazy here. Something is preventing that pump from coming on after it sits for any length of time.
