Battry Charging 20A

Hi I think I have a recifier on my 20HP Yamaha there are a few wires coiming form it how do i connect it to my battry? I can see a red wires with a connecror on it is this the one the goes to the possative+ pole if so where do I connect the other battry pole - one? do I ground it on hte motor? any one got a wireing diagram for this circuit please.

Sounds like you're on the right track. What year is the motor?

I dont realy know Mike sorry.We may be changeing in next week for a Mariner 30Hp i think the Mariner is similar to the Yamaha 30HP?
