I recently removed the intake silencer, throttle bodies and manifold from my engine to access and clean the VST. Everything went well, but when I tested throttle response before putting the silencer back on I noticed that the two butterfly valves on the lower throttle body are only opening about 90%.
This engine has two throttle bodies. The top one has the connection to the throttle cable, and when I move the control on the console the top two butterfly valves open all the way. There is a physical connection between the top and lower throttle bodies, and the top one advances the lower one, but not all of the way.
This was not an issue before I took things apart, so my guess is that I've missed a step during reassembly.
Any suggestions?
