  • tilt lubricating

I have twin 150 HPDIs on a Grady White with Sea Star steering. I can't reach the grease nipples to lubricate the tilt/trim brackets on the stbd motor without removing the Sea Star linkage. Is there a trick to reaching the nipples? Unfortunately I can't look at the boat right now, but is it possible to replace the grease nipples with 90 degree nipples? Wish I'd thought of that when I was at the boat.

easy, tilt the motors up and use the fittings that are 180* or so from the front facing fittings.

same passage, in fact that's why they are there.

Great answer! I have lubed those fittings on the backside and am relieved to know they get to the same passage. Thanks a lot.
