  • Yamaha F115 Internal Anode Replacement

I am trying to replace the internal anodes on my 2005 F115 TXRD, and one of the two that are recessed inside the engine won't come out. It's very difficult to get a grip on the cover, there is very little room to work.

Is there a special tool to remove the anode cover, or some trick I'm missing?

The bottom one came out easily, but the top is very stuck. Penetrating oil hasn't helped yet.

    Thanks.

most say to leave them alone if you do not change them every few years, which yours are way past that.
break things off and those parts will block off passages.
