The last couple of times out in tournaments I noticed a loss of power when at high speed I would hit rough water. It runs fine in rough water at 4000 or so but at 5000 or above it will hit the waves and just sort of bog down loss rpm to around 4000 and then begin to slowly gain rpms
then it will run fine. Anyone have an idea or advice.

That happened to my 99 250 ox66 in 8-10 ft swells, turned out to be clogged screen on high pressure fuel pump
