Trim and Oil Harness Motor End

    Okay, with the persistence from both, I decided to disconnect the only “Ivory” colored 4 pin connector and then inserted the Trim/Oil connector. Lo and behold, it looks like the missing link to the puzzle.

    The only "Ivory" colored 4 pin connector plugged together



    I disconnected the connectors



    Plugged the two connectors from the trim/oil harness.



    Viola! Hope this is correct .

      and that is how it works.
      why someone plugged them together???? cause it fits.

        Seems I have read if they get plugged together when they should not be ,it can cause some problems.
        Memory is not too good so I am guessing at this,
        maybe it caused false alarms.

          Sure hope it doesn't/didn't cause any poblem .

          I'll know after I finish the modifications and installation back on the boat.

            Just a follow-up on my repower. Motor fired right up with tach and trim control operational. I still need to re-install a couple of items...T-top, fuse panel and fresh batteries before launching this weekend for a trial run.
