2003 75 four. stroke.

Looking at a boat that has a yamaha 2003 four stroke. Dont know hrs, should I pass. I will try and get hrs tomorrow. Thanks

What class action suit? The one about the 3.3 liter F200/F225's that never went anywhere? That was dismissed in favour of Yamaha?

What would that have anything to do with an F75 model?

Yamaha does not use the term "gen" or "generations".

If in good condition, starts well, idles well, runs well, has good compression, etc., there should be no greater risk than when buying any other like kind 17 year old outboard motor.

buying anything not new is a gamble,
car , truck, lawn mower, weed wacker , chain saw, motor cycle, etc
no warranty/ guarantee unless you get that in writing from the seller
run it yourself to make sure it does what you want it to do and then cross you fingers and hope
