  • Bad stator or cdi component

Good day ! I have a yamaha 250 2 stroke ox66 fuel injection engine . Im experiencing some issues with my engine that is really getting to me and need some help. My engine wouldn't allow me to accelerate over 2500 rpm without breaking down and sputtering. I have change the pulsar/trigger mechanic advise me to go through the fuel system which i did . On the 5th and 6th cyclinder the plugs arent getting no fire ..he is now saying its my cdi or stator

take some peak voltage reading of the coils feeding into the CDI and check the out put of the CDI also.
need to use the proper voltmeter or a DVA adapter with regular meter

I was talking about the charging and pulser coils in the stator feeding the CDI and the CDI output to ignition coils

There is no Yamaha "safe" mode.
