What the best way to remove these nipple. My are rusted out. I try to vice grip them but they won't budge. I'm afraid if I try to force it out the will brake apart.
    Motor is 2000 150hp ox66.

    note the nipple orientation.
grab it with vise grips, twist and yank them out.

Rodbolt17 what would be the chance that these nipple would break apart. I took it to a shop yesterday . The mechanic told me just leave them. He doesn't want to try and have nipple break apart then he have to remove the powerhead drill them out.

      Thanks

You might buy a new one and have a look at it to see how robust it is.
If it is made of thick material then the chance of breaking is less.

Thank for reply . I just got it done with a pair vice grip. They came out pretty easy.

The twisting does makes it break free and come out easier.

If they are installed similar to the recirculation check valves in on my C40, make sure you clean well and use the proper locktite stuff like manual calls for when reinstalling the new ones
