Will any Tach work on my f60

Since you are not telling us whether 'your' F60 is a 2002 or a 2020
the only thing that can safely be stated
is that a 6Y5 or 6Y7 tach 'can be made to work' on it

I suspect that a mechanical drive tachometer will not work.

and some of those tachs that you wrap the signal wire around a plug wire may have a problem with all of the signals induced by the other plug wires it picks up

So you can use a Yamaha 6Y5, 6Y7,
or any non-Yamaha 'conventional' tach that provides for a "12 pole' input
those would use the green wire off the keyswitch/703 control

or Command Link 6Y8 round (or square, if you can find one)
which would connect via the engine harness CL plug
