2002 30HP 4-Stroke Outboard Making Strange Noise

Hi All, We have a Yamaha 4-stroke making a funny sound. Makes the noise while running and in neutral idling. Sounds like a belt, but that looks ok. Any ideas? Please see YouTube video below:

Odd... It's not "noisy" directly related with the RPMs, perhaps 1/2 to 1/3 of it.. And even occasionally an extra "noise"

Does the noise increase with RPMs?

Just for S&Gs, pull off the plastic flywheel cover, inspect and maybe crank up W/O it. Just ascertain nothings rubbing under there..

Thanks for the response Scott. The rubbing noise doesn't increase w/ RPMs, stays pretty consistent and doesn't have a real pattern. Will do as you suggest and pull flywheel cover and inspect.
