  • Gauge help

    I have 2008 350trx with command link square gauges. I was putting fuel in my boat and turned the key on to see the tank levels. The gauges read as they should then the fuel gauge quit reading. I turned it off we headed to the ramp. I turned the key on to launch my fuel gauge still didn’t work,then my starboard tach gauge quit working. Later at home, I had an extra fuel gauge and tried it ,same thing dead. Would my problem be my Multi hub terminals? Please help lost on this one.

    the multihub and the gauges use 4 wires;
    red is 12v power, black is ground -
    those are needed to make the gauges 'on'

    'data' - the various numeric values that the gauges display -
    is sent via the blue and white wires.

    so if the gauge appears 'dead' - that may be a problem with red or black wiring

    if they were 'on' but displaying only "--"
    that might be a problem with the blue or white

    if all the gauges were 'dead' -
    the fuse in the red wire to the multihub is suspect
