    thinking about this more, if it was the main pos battery cable that went to ground, it should not have to go thru a fuse, so not sure what you did to something

    And it crossed my mind to disconnect it but I didn’t .. shoulda coulda woulda in action

    always good to disconnect the battery before doing any work on a 12 volt system be it car ,truck, ATV, or boat etc..

    there should be a fuse,
    your service manual should have wiring diagrams,
    but I am of no help as to where to find them on that motor itself,
    others should show up to direct you soon

    Hopefully one of you have had this same problem and can help.. I have a 2007 225 hpdi and I was replacing my starter and I let the positive lead touch the block and it arced out and now I have no power.. let won’t do anything and I also don’t have trim or gauges. It has to be a fuse right?? I can’t seem to find it if so..
