Will my old Evinrude gear oil pump fit my Yamaha gear case?

Hi,
Will the gear case oil pump that I used for my old Evinrude VRO50 fit the drain hole on my F70A? Do they use the same size and thread plugs?

the Yamaha, metric M8

commonly the plastic pumps are sold with a threaded adapter
