Changing motor length

What exactly would need to be done, and what parts replaced to change a F300 Yamaha from a 30 inch foot to a 25 inch foot? Can find plenty of 30 inch motors for sale, and fewer 25's so just trying to figure out the cost/effort to convert one.

At least a new, shorter driveshaft:

The longer engines have a "spacer" extending the reach with the longer drive shaft (which yours doesn't)

Ouch, proud of those driveshafts. Oh well least I know about what the conversion would cost. Maybe there are some used ones around.
