  • 60 hp 2 stroke cylinder issue

The bottom two cylinders on my 2003 60 hp 2 stroke aren’t firing correctly. I cleaned the carbs, changed the spark plugs, and tested the coils and they all check out fine. When I open the emergency fuel enrichment valve then they fire up fine. I’m wondering if this is a fuel pump issue or if I have something else possibly going wrong. Compression is 130 plus or minus one on all three cylinders.

adding extra fuel tells me that the carbs are not giving those cylinder enough fuel until you force it with the over ride.
fuel pump bad would cause extra fuel to just the bottom cylinder adding more on top of that would not help

So do you think it’s the jets in the carbs?

depend on when those cylinders are not burning properly.
is it when cold or even after warmed up too.

the prime start is part of the carb assembly too.
are those passages clear & clean along with all the others in carbs?
